Natasha was part of the international DAP Lab, which emerged from the Telematic Performance Lab at Nottingham Trent University. The first phase of design and performance experiments directed by Johannes Birringer and Michèle Danjoux. Featured concepts by Michèle Danjoux and Jo Cope brought together designers, performers, photography, and fine art, exploring design-in-motion principles, sensual technologies, and live streaming performance. Workshops and experiments leading up to this culminated in an all-night live interactive performance of “Telematic Dress.” The “Emergent Dress” signals phase III-IV of the DAP-Lab, consolidated concepts in person, online, and interactively, resulting in a collaborative partnership directed by Birringer with the Department of Dance, Arizona State University.
